Faulty Blackberry Cellphone

I have been a loyal vodacom subscriber for the past 10 years and have been using blackberry's since day 1. I recently upgraded to the newer blackberry curve and have had endless problems with the phone. I bought a pink curve and now it is completely white. The phone switches off as it wants, random reboots and all the functionality is lost. I recently had a baby and even the camera doesn't take photos at times. The trackball gets frozen and i have to navigate with numbers. It is a hopeless phone and i wish i never changed my previous cell phone. When i take the phone to vodacom (brooklyn, pretoria) they tell me they need to take my phone for close to 20days to assess it. What am i going to do for the 20 days? I am so sick of vodacom's services i am seriously considering moving to another service provider.
