On Friday 12 July 2013, I noticed that the my visual voicemail stopped working since Wednesday ie was only receiving SMS notifications of new voice messages.
On Tuesday 16 July I noticed that my entire visual voicemail was missing from my phone so I phoned Vodacom immediately and to date not resolved.
I have been phoning continuously without a result. I get told that the voice messages are only kept on the system for 4 days. Yesterday I played back a visual voice message on my wifes phone from 25/11/2010.
I feel I am wasting my time going backwards and forward and need to urgently know the following :
What happened to my visual voicemail box?
If my voicemail box was reset, who gave permission to do so?
When can Vodacom retrieve the messages that were deleted?
I urgently need replies to points 6A and 6B.
My visual voicemail is still not working and no resolution or explanation other than they cannot retrieve my voice messages.
What must I do to get a response??? How can my voicemail box just disappear???
