Vodacom
Mislead to sign wrong contract

My wife and i bought a contract phone a Smart Stand 229 at Game on the 24.03.2013 We wanted a top up phone and the consultant said yes if the airtime is up you can just buy.
We were under the impression it was a top up phone and we were never informed or explained that it was a open end contract and the contract we signed doesn't say open end it just says Smart Standard 229 package.
The normal instalment of R229 went off in April. Then in May R465.89 was deducted and i contacted Game Promenade Mitchells Plain immediately after i got the notification on my phone and June R790 .I spoke to the manager at Game Niezaam, he said they never had a case like this where a person was given the wrong contract or was "mislead"
I told him we applied for a top up phone but more was deducted than the normal R229.I told him i was not explained that. He said he was going to contact Vodacom, but he never came back to me and when i phoned he was not available. I contacted Vodacom directly and spoke to Uraz who spoke to his manangement and they said the money cannot be refunded but can migrate me to a top up, but i must pay in R300.Two weeks still waiting on answer from Vodacom regional as per Uraz.
