Two months ago i stepped into the Grahamstown MTN branch excited to get my Samsung Galaxy S4 on a 200 top up contract. I asked all the staff present about the price difference between the R399 contract and the top up contract. The young lady that I was speaking to was unsure and she asked her manager next to her who respnded that I would be billed R429 a month. I was happy paying R30 more a month to be able to recharge my airtime if I ran out. Furthermore, I signed the contract under the impression I would be paying R429 a month. However to my utter disgust I discovered that I am in fact being billed R449 a month. I would like some answers to this situation as I believe the staff at the store truly are untrained and have the worst customer service skills I have ever witnessed, as I was forced to wait while the young lady spoke to a friend and her manager seemed too busy on the PC to pay attention to me. I would like to know what actions I may take as I am deeply disgraced by their service and how I was essentially mislead into signing a costly 24 month contract.
