I am regrettably writing this with a large amount of frustration, disappointment and with absolutely no more respect for Telkom.

Last year January (2012), I took up you promotion of 3 months free internet where i only had to pay R140 line rental. I started this on the 25 January 2012 and called into your call center to end it at the end of April 2012. The amount i should have paid should have only been R420 (140x3). I ended up paying R850.

This year (more than a year after I thought this was over), I received worrying emails saying that I am in arrears with Telkom and interest is being accrued on this account. I now apparently owe over R1000. This is after the "free" 3 months internet deal. To any half educated person, this would make no sense.

I am appalled and shocked at the incompetence of Telkom to handle this issue. I was in contact with the debt collecting lawyers who then transferred me to Telkom's internal legal team who then transferred me to someone else. All who could not give me an answer to my pestering problem.
