I am still waiting to be credited an amount of R1307 which Telkom charged me. This was for an internet line that they said was not cancelled when I cancelled my telephone line in January 2012. How can you use the internet without a telephone line? I have been emailing them and calling them from the UK (specifically Marlene Volschenk and Oupa Ngoatle) to sort this out for more than 1 year now. This is utterly unacceptable and a prime example of Telkom's shocking treatment of customers. All I want is for my money to be returned as this is. Had I owed Telkom money - I would have had a debt collector at my door already. The amount of time wasted and inconvenience caused is ridiculous. They then paid R600 a year and 2 months later after a request for me to sent a marriage certificate as my surname had changed, copies of my ID before and after marriage and passport. This is the worst customer experience I have ever had and will endevour never to use Telkom again.
