January 2012 I got a call from Telkom call center requesting to install a trial telephone and internet line which was said to be free for the following three months. Indeed I accepted the offer as I had nothing to lose, the line was installed on the end of January 2012. Three months went by and on the 4th month the line was still live and was eventually closed as it was a free trial.
Sometime in May 2012 I got a bill of about R800 from Telkom, which was said to be a telephone line rental for previous months. when I questioned they said the only thing that is free is the internet. Since they have taken my name to their attorneys the bill has risen to about R2000, which I'm not happy about as I should not be paying a cent. Please help.
