Deactivation of Email Accounts

I had an working email address of 4 characters [Email Removed] until the 4th of July2013. Ever since then I have been unable to receive any email to this address.

Today when I contacted the call centre I was told that you are only allowed 1 email account and 5 alias. I then asked that they make the 4 character email address an alias to the main account.

When I log into the mailbox activator I can see it as an alias but no mail comes through. After been transfer numerous times, I was eventually told by the service consultant, Tshepo, that it is impossible to receive email to the alias as it can't be authenticated by the server and there is no way to fix this.

Certainly as my internet service provider you should be able to do something as you managed to create an alias using the same 4 characters with an additional number on the end [Email Removed] I have been using this email address for more than a year and suddenly it can't be fixed. How do I explain this to people? "Oh, I'm very sorry but Telkom can't fix their own mail servers.", I'm certain that will encourage people to choose Telkom as their ISP.
