Wrong account debit

My account was debited with R4400 for what Vodacom says it's "data usage". My initial debit amount is R500. I only have my device for 9 days, and my package deal consists of 1gig (from them) and thereafter I may top up, if I wish to. Firstly, I use less than two gigs per month, so there is no way I would have gone over one gig in 9days. Secondly, since receiving my device I have always ensured that my cellular data is off when not in use, and in terms of downloads-I only do at Wi Fi active locations. It also indicates on their system what deal I am on.

They are now making it my problem, telling this is related to data I have used months ago, when in fact this is the first device I have that requires data.

This is so disappointing!!!
