I have dropped my phone off for a repair quote with MTN Repair Centre. I was told numerous times that I was not insured. Eventually hours later I was infact told that I am insured with MTN themselves. After more than 15 calls to the number supplied, I have been told constantly that my number is invalid by the automated response. I spent 32 minutes on hold yesterday after I got through that problem, only to be cut off. I have now contacted 808 and have been on hold for 48 mins and counting waiting to speak to MTN Insurance. I don't understand how this customer service exists in todays world. In total I must have wasted over 7 hours of my time in the last two days. Happy to bill me every month but when it is time to get service, different story. At this stage, I just want to cancel my contract and never look back as it is not the first time I have had this problem. I have now been without a phone for 4 days. Why did I even take out insurance?!
