Unable to get my MTN insured phone replacement

I lost my phone (Sony Xperia V) on Saturday Oct 26 and am insured with MTN insurance-
I went to the MTN Blue Route shop to find out what I should do, they couldn't do anything and said I should call the insurance call centre.
I did this and after about an hour and half I got through to someone who could blacklist my phone but could help no further - they said I must call again on Monday
On Monday I spent at least 3 hours trying to call the insurance number no response. Eventually I got through to them on Tuesday (2 hours waiting) and got my claim processed.
I went to MTN fourways as indicated only to be told that the phone (Sony Xperia V) is no longer available (it is in MTN oct deals mag). After much hassling they agreed to order one from another shop and would let me know when it arrived. I never heard back from them. when I called them back I was told they couldn't find out and I should "speak to insurance" despite the fact that my insurance is MTN.

Now 5 days after processing my claim I have no phone and no idea how/when to get one. The staff skills/attitude is pathetic and call centre waiting is unacceptable. Please help me get the service I have been paying for.
