I visited the Gateway store recently as I am due an upgrade this month. I was absolutely disgusted at the fact that if you a new customer you could get the Samsung S4 for R399 with 450GB of Data, but if you upgrading you can only get R419 for 200MB of data, with the amount of minutes and sms being the same. Why is Vodacom punishing me for being with Vodacom for the past 5 years??
Also I switched to Vodacom 5 years ago as Vodacom always has the best deals - However why should i stay with vodacom when their best deal for the S4 (i.e. R419 for 200mb data, 75mins and 200sms) when Cellc offers for R399 (1GB of data, 100mins and 100 sms), which is clearly a much better package - Can this deal not be matched? If not, I'm ready to port over. I would love to stay with Vodacom however as a consumer it just doesn't make sense?
Vodacom seems to be focusing all their attention on attaining new customers without caring about keeping its long standing customers happy.
