I recently ported from vodacom to cellc because their rates are so much cheaper than the competitors. This doesn't benefit me in my area (Crosby) because the network performance and reliability is so bad. My phone shows full signal strength but I sometimes can't connect a call or have a broken conversation. The 3G almost never works so I can't use mobile data dependent apps. The issue is not with my phone because everything works perfect in the area that I work (Illovo, Sandton).
