I did an on-line upgrade with Vodacom last weekend. the cost was R429pm. After noticing that Cell C have a much better deal on the phone I chose I wrote to Vodacom to express my unhappiness. I was told to go to a Vodacom store and do a "Deal Match" i approched 4 different stores, Norwood, Balfour Park, Sandton and Hyde Park. None were interested in helping. I was told by Customer services i neede to go into a store and they would complete a form for me. I called Norwood again and they agreed to submit the form but when I went there they didnot have the form. I was called by 2 Vodacom Customer care Supervisors who told me Vodacom was a better network and better company than CellC and blah blah. Cell C undercut their prices and deals to get business. Today i looked on line and Vodacom have now reduced their prices ro R389 and R399 with 500mb extra data pm. i do not believe Vodacom were unaware of this website and price change and could have been and should be more accomodating and either offered one of te new deals (I would have settkled for their R399pm with extra data) without a proble. needless to say I am unhappy with the runaround they gave me, their total inflexibility.
