My Samsung SII phone keeps on dropping calls. Initially I suspected poor reception but took the phone in to be checked on 08/06/2013. After getting no response I checked with the outlet on 29/06/2013 and was told that the repairs would cost R 2550.00. No fault reason could be given. I told them the phone had an extended guarantee and they said they would follow up on 01/07/2013 with their service centre. After no feedback I called them on 02/07/2013 and they still had no news. They returned my call and confirmed that the phone had an extended warranty and that I had to complete a claims form, three weeks after the phone was handed in! I was informed that according to the manageress, one Elizabeth Minnaar, that I was requested to complete this form previously, which is a complete lie. Their service policy apparently states a repair period of 21 working days. I use my phone for business purposes and nearly a month later I have now submitted my claim form with no idea as to when my phone will be repaired, despite an extended warranty! This!
