After countless attempts to resolve a dysfunctional Blackberry 9800 unit issued from Vodacom (and being constantly offered a supposedly functional unit instead), I am at my wits end. What is more disconcerting is the new-found knowledge I gained that these exchanged units are in fact "refurbished " units (more often then not handed down by some other unfortunate soul) who has gone through a similar plight as me & several other frustrated customers). Not once in over 6/7 exchanges and repair bookings and countless days /weeks of seeking resolution of this problem was this fact disclosed clearly to me. Instead I was lead to believe that I have a functional unit replacement only to have the same recurring nightmare experience with freezing screens / trackpads which results in a blacked out screen / a totally dead handset that needs to be manually rebooted over and over again. Much to my disgust, after 3 consecutive days of repeated attempts to resolve the issue with line managers Mogapi Gaeonale, Promise Malinga, Bheki Sibeko etc ..., I was handed back a refurbished handset and not even granted the courtesy of an opportunity to address the issue with Peter Manyaka (too busy)
