Ridiculously bad signal in Wendywood / Gallo Mano

Hello

I am a Vodacom subscriber in a complex in the Wendywood / Gallo Manor area of Sandton.

Since I moved into the complex in December, my Vodacom signal has been extremely poor, to the point of being non-existent. EVERY call I make or receive gets dropped somewhere in the conversation, for me or the other person to call again. This can be very embarrassing when dealing with colleagues or clients. Internet on my phone is slow to the point of me not bothering to use it. I NEVER get 3G. All of this in the Sandton area, which should have top notch signal. So I'm paying every month for non-service, really. And now I'm getting calls from Vodacom to upgrade my contract, because its about to end.

I laid the complaint to Vodacom in December. Eventually they responded saying they are going to put up a tower. Once every 2 months I get the same obligatory message that they are working on it. No one has given me time frames. No one has explained why that is a dead zone, or offered temporary solutions. It has become very frustrating. As user called BEADLE135 poster a similar grievance on 8 Jan 2013. According to him in his post, the problem had occurred since 2005! Sort it out Vodacom.
