My husband & I recently upgraded our contracts from a MTN500 to a MTN750 Samsung Galaxy S3. My problem arises with the after sales service & lack thereof. I checked my account details 2 weeks later & noticed that the bill was unusually high. I contacted the call centre & was told that the upgrade took place but it was still on the MTN500 package. They told me to contact the branch where the upgrade was done. I called & spoke to the manager who said she would call me back as the system was very slow. Needless to say this did not happen. I tried calling back a few times but could not get through. I finally went into the store 2 weeks later & as luck would have it their systems were off line. I was told that the upgrade took place but that the migration failed. I have 3 issues here: When I was doing the upgrade I specifically asked for the Samsung S4, I was told that I would have to wait a few months - no stock; I was told that the upgrade would be done within 24 hours, not once was it mentioned that that it only takes effect at the start of my next billing cycle; & how come my account has been upgraded but not my data packages? I am very unhappy with the poor service received...
