I have been unable to receive calls and send or receive SMS since Monday, 24 June. Mtn experiences network problems on Monday and told me this was the reason but it will be resolved in 2-24hrs. This has not happened. I have spent hours on the phone tot he call centre trying to get this resolved. Every day I'm told that it will take another 2-24 hrs to resolve. Yesterday I finally managed to speak to. Supervisor who assured me at it will be sorted by 10h today, 27 June. Still not. This is unacceptable. I'm told that the network department is working on it but there no one can give me any concrete information as to the nature of the problem and why it is taking this long to resolve. This is the worst customer service I have received in years. MTN should empower its staff to be able to adequately answer technical queries and not to be robotic messengers conveying the same messages over and over again. I implore you to please address my problem as soon as possible!
