Does porting to 8ta takes more than a week?

I ported my vodacom cell number to 8ta on the 28th of March.
Till today the porting process is not finished, i can't receive calls or sms's but i can make calls.

I have phoned 8ta call centre several times but the problem can't seem to be solved. i was told that the porting process takes 24hrs, after 48hrs i swithched to my 8ta sim card.
i phoned the call centre & they tried to fix my problem but they couldn't so they sent the problem to the techncal department & i was asked to wait 72 working hours which is finished long time ago.

i phoned again on the 4th & i was asked to wait 24hrs but still i can't receive calls, i again phone yesterday on the 5th & i was promised that the problem will be sorted either later yesterday or today but its still not sorted out.

This level of service is pathetic, maybe 8ta staff need to be properly trained cause porting a number shouldn't take up to 2 weeks & this is unacceptable.

I need this sorted out asap or please someone needs to get back to me & give me feed back so i can move onto another network in no 1 knows how to port at 8ta, i'm so sick n' tired of phonid *ta for same thing over, over, & over again, its so annoying.
