MTN refusing to repair Blackberry

I'm unhappy with the service received from MTN.

I asked a friend of mine, who had a day of leave, to drive me yesterday from Kuils River to Montague Gardens Repair Centre to hand in my Blackberry 9300 for repairs. The scroller has not been working right for the past couple of months. At least once a week, I had to struggle to get access to my phone. Sometimes, especially lately, it could take up to three hours of constantly rebooting the phone before I could have use of the phone again, although the joy never lasted. When I handed in the phone, I was told they will fix it unless it has water damage or physical damage (meaning someone other than a MTN technician opened it up). I was quite confident they would fix it because neither of those things occurred.

Now I'm told the phone has physical damage and as a result the warranty is void. It should have physical damages, since the scroller (and keypad) isn't working. THUS THE NEED FOR REPAIR.

Ms Higgins informed me I can pick up the phone but what am I suppose to do with a phone that's not repaired?

What is the point of having a 2 year warranty if they just refuse to help you?!!!

Hoping this matter receives urgent attention.
