I'm really disappointed at the service from MTN, they are not willing to repair my Blackberry 9800 yet I'm still paying the contract & the phone is still under warranty.
The problem began with the trackball ball not working, I had delayed the process of booking it in for repairs for around 2 weeks as I was able to utilise the phone using the touch screen but this became problematic as the touch screen kept freezing. About a week later the button's literally fell out & I had no choice but to book the phone in.
Once the phone was booked in days later I was advised I could collect the phone & to my diappointment MTN advised that they cannot repair the phone due to physical damage; as if I would intentionally damage my phone & rip out the buttons.
I'm appalled that MTN is not even willing to consider reparing the phone (seeming its still under warranty) and now I'm sitting with a phone that I'm paying for; that I cannot use.
They repaired the trackball previously on one of my first blackberry phones, why is it an issue of physical damange all of a sudden?
