Steer clear of useless Neotel

On 21/06/2013, I bought a prepaid data stick (R549.00) & R499.00 data bundle after Avron & Faiz assured me that there is reception in my area. At home I tried to connect & was unable to do so. I called Avron & he told me I can return it and he will refund me. On 22/06/2013, I went to return it and Eddie refused to refund me, claiming that he cannot refund me because the manager is not there. At no stage was he willing to make any effort to assist me to refund my money and had a don't care attitude. After much arguing I persuaded him to keep the useless data stick & requested him to refund me the money on 24/06/2013, failing which I will report the matter to the consumer protector and also highlight it on Capetalk radio. I have already laid a charge of at the police station. The CPA is clear that the customer is entitled to a full refund if the product is defective. Really, Neotel is the pits when it comes to customer service & blatantly about reception coverage. I will make a point in telling all my friends and family to steer clear of Neotel.
