A while ago i bought 2 neotel pay as you go handsets for R399 each. They were delivered and i had endless problems with them from the start. bad reception, bad sound etc. So I asked for a replacement unit for both handsets. Both units were replaced and i had the same problems. i replaced the units again - and had the same problems. Eventually i told neotel to collect the units and refund me. They collected and then i didnt hear from them. When i contacted them to find out where my refund was they said the units were over a year old so I dont get my money back. uhm - no. You cant keep my money and keep the units. Surely i need to have one or the other? I called a few months later and spoke to someone else, explaining the last replacement handsets that i returned weren't a year old, they weren't even 6 months old. So she said she will put a new request for a refund. And i'm still waiting. Neotel - either you want my money or you want your handsets but you cant have both, If you keep 10 handesets a month and dont refund people thier money you are close on R50 000 a year!! Please someone contact me asap.
