I took out a 3G MTN data package in February 2012, and since I was in a poor signal area (after much complaining and posting on HP) had a signal booster/antenna installed by MTN's contractors. 3 months after the intial complaint, by the way. Since Feb 2013 however, the signal has deteriorated to such an extent that it's virtually impossible to use the 'net for the intended purpose, Skype conversations.
Previously to Feb 2013 I would get speeds of 1.1 Mbps for both upload and download (tested via [URL Removed] .Fair usage policy aside I have found the connection to be slow and unreliable, often staying connected but with both upload and download speeds sitting at .00.
I called MTN last week and logged my complaint and was advised a technician would contact me. Big surprise, a week later I'm still waiting fro that phone call...
So when will MTN contact me, or must I move my business elsewhere? (which is looking very attractive at the moment)
