I bought a new Nokia Cell C 3G dongle in January this year as I previously had a Cell C package that expired.
We never had any issues with our previous package and the signal has always been great, so this is why we chose to go with Cell C once again however when we got home and tested the dongle and we noticed that we just about got signal and the connection speed was so slow we could not use it.
We were basically unable to use the dongle in our house. We tested the dongle from another location in the Ottery area of we got almost 4 megs download speed.
We then contacted and went in to the Cell C Service center (Tygervalley) to log a service call for a technician to come out and check our signal strength, etc. He too said that the signal is really bad, he then went to check the tower and said the the Wetton tower and the Handover park towers signals are clashing and would have to reposition it.
This was a few months ago and nothing has changed. I have called the technician and Cell C numerous times in the past 8 months to assist us with our signal problem, but NOTHING. We have purchased a package for R2000 that we have not been able to use in the 8 months!!
