24 weeks - 2 panel beaters - 30 follow up emails

My initial claim for damage to my car went in and was accepted by Barrington Insurance on 23/10/2012 (24 weeks ago today) It went to Sandton Panel beaters at the suggestion of the insurance company as my car required a VW approved panel beater as it was so new. After picking my car up for the first time from them on the 23/11/2012 and paying my excess - the radio didnt work and the air conditioner blew hot air and glass. It was returned there are two more occasions, once after my rear view mirror fell off while I was driving. After 24 emails to Barrington, an assessor was finally sent to re-assess the damage and confirmed that there was indeed poor workmanship and a new panel beater was referred, again by the insurer and not a panel beater of my choice. That was on January 11th. I was finally called on the 27/28th March to come pick up my car with an old part and than I must bring it back when the new part arrives. In all this time I have not heard from my broker at Barrington and until I queried all parties involved I had no idea when the new part would even be arriving in the country. Although I have a courtesy car, I have yet to receive even an apology.
