A cellular phone was purchased at Truworths Musgrave. The phone was sent in to MTN for repairs. The phone was then replaced with a refurbished handset which was blacklisted and had 3 IMEI numbers linked to it. The phone is still listed with the 3 IMEI numbers. I have been given the run around in getting the phone sorted out. I paid for a cellular phone which was most of the time in repairs than out. I have also forwarded my complaint to Wendy Knowler for further assistance. All I want is for the phone to be repaired or replaced. No one can give me a definite answer to remedy the problem I am experiencing.
I am very appalled and frustrated with the service provided by MTN. I purchased the cellular phone for my daughter, I personally deal with Cell C but when I purchased the cellular phone at the store, I was advised that the phone was locked onto the MTN Network and that it would loose it's warranty if I replaced the MTN Sim card with that of another service provider and I could loose the warranty on the phone.
I am hoping that MTN can get the problem resolved so that I can actually utilize the product I paid for.
