I have a company contract with Vodacom and recently upgraded my phone. We get a sponsored amount per month and whatever you go over is for your own pocket. I had never had to pay in extra as I do not use the phone excessively, not do I 'surf' the net the whole time. I got my monthly statement this morning and my bill is R2 200 of which R1 900 is data charges - how does that happen? It's a Nokia Windows phone. It was not explained beforehand that there are ridiculous hidden costs for having this 'fancy' phone. And I'm not the only person in the company with this problem but we are not getting any joy from Vodacom. Please could someone assist?!
