Ridiculously High Data Charges!!

I received my upgrade in February of this year. Since then my phone bills have been in excess of R1500.00 every month due to data charges. I don't use the phone any more than friends/colleagues using the iPhone, on the same contract, with bills averaging R500/R600. I have queried this with Vodacom on multiple occasions and confirmed with Apple who agree these data charges for a person that doesn't download very much with minimal apps are not normal. I have turned off absolutely everything on the iPhone that could possibly be using data yet still, I sit with a sky-high phone bill that can't be explained! I receive 300MB of data with my contract, which is used up within 2 or 3 days! Another example for you; In an attempt to save my bank account every month and not be charged out of bundle rates, I purchase data bundles at least 3 to 4 times a month. I have just bought another 100MB about 30 minutes ago and turned off my cellular data - I have just received a sms from Vodacom to say the data bundle is about to run out - HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN???
