MTN DOESN'T CARE ABOUT THE LITTLE GUY

I received a phone call from an MTN telesales person. He had noticed that I had not got a phone upgrade although I had been due for one at the end of March. I said that I was going to downgrade my contract and I knew I had to wait until July. He then with great gusto assured me over and over again that I could do that now WITHOUT ANY ADDITIONAL CHARGES! I questioned this several times and each time received the same enthusiastic response which was that there would be no migration charges. Being wary I then went to MTN HQ in 14th Street. What an unpleasant experience. The only highlight was the sweet Customer Service gentleman who explained that a migration charge was indeed there but he did try and phone someone who could waive it, however they never answered their phone. I then went to reception and was told to go to another building. I refused, I am after all the customer and I don't want to spend the morning going from pillar to post at MTN. I told her to call someone to come to me. She then spent about five minutes trying different numbers all the while totally ignoring me. I left in disgust. I have sent an email but have had no response. MTN JUST DOESNT CARE!
