DONT OPEN AN ACC WITH VIRGIN MOBILE!!!

I had a staff acc from 2006-2008 but settled it when I left in 2008. I was applying for finance and was told that I have an account with Virgin Mobile! I contacted VM and was sent a paid up letter stating that the acc is closed and I dont owe VM anything. I was also told that this would be sent to the credit beareu to remove from my profile. I was told yesterday that this account is still on my credit profile. How unprofessional is this???!!!
I want VM to take care of this and I want feedback as to when will this be removed from my credit profile!!! this is really so disappointing!!! I will never advise anyone to take up an acc with VM!
