Handed a settled account over for credit recovery

Hi,

I am very upset that I received a letter for collections subsequent to me buying out my handset.

I received a letter dated 25 May 2012 from Select Online. I contacted Shantal Pillay stating that I am not aware that I owe Virgin Mobile any money. She advised me that she would follow up and revert back to me. It is now 25 February 2013 and I have not been contacted with regard to this.

I paid for my handset an amount of R357.84 on 22/01/2010. The reference number was 0736164234. This was what the call centre advised me to do.

Could someone please revert back to me to why this was handed over for credit recovery if it was indeed paid? As far as I am concerned I DO NOT owe Virgin Mobile R519.17. Virgin Mobile never contacted me prior to this with regard to an outstanding balance. They have my details they should have communicated this to me.
