I booked my iPhone 4s in for repairs at Vodacom repairs Century City on 09/03/2013. Firstly, the person that assisted me wasn't very helpful and didn't explain anything. She just told me to sign and someone will call me when they knew whats wrong with the phone. After about a week i called for an update and they told me the phone was really for collection, i collected the phone and asked is it was a new or refurbished phone, the person i spoke to said it was NEW! On the 24/05/2013 i booked the "NEW" iPhone in for the EXACT same issue at Vodacom repairs Tygervalley. The service there was much better though. The phone was again sent to Advanced Repair Center and will be swopped out. When i called the "Advanced Repair Center" on Thursday 30/05/2013 to find out what caused the issue or how it was possible i could have the same problem, the consultant told me, " sometimes the SIM card causes network issues". Ridiculous! how does a SIM card affect the WIFi? I asked to speak to a manager and was told i cant but someone will call me back. its been more than 24 Hours already still no call. This is pathetic, my 3rd iPhone in one year and no one Vodacom seems to care or know what they doing!
