Hi Peter. I took my phone in for repairs on the 19/10/13 to Westgate Mall, it was received at Cresta Vodacom repair center on 22/10/2013. I received updates that the phone is in the repair process and awaiting spares. on the 31/10/2013-the phone was escalated to advanced repairs, I then received an sms with a qoutation amount of R2964 to repair the phone. I called Vodacom Cresta on the 08/11/2013 to follow up what is the issue with the phone. I spoke to a technician Bongani who told me that Vodacom is charging him for the negligence on the phone and offered to pay me the amount quoted so that I can get a new Phone. I went to Vodacom Westgate to seek clarity on the matter and was told Bongani is not at work and I coulndt be assisted. Bongani called me today and we did not come to an agreement on his offer. I requested the Manager Robyn to call me which he hid and explain that the crack on the board of the phone was Bongani's fault and he should foot the bill, however I will get a refurbished phone, with new serial no: and IMEI no?? sounds dodgy my phone is on contract. Why should I get a second hand phone when the fault is not on my side??? will the contract be void due to changes
