Vodacom
Charges Not Disclosed

I upgraded my contract and renewed my contract for a further 2 years. I was due for an upgrade in January 2013 but though to chek with Vodacom at Vodaworld if I could already upgrade in December whilst we were in the vacinity. A lovely lady helped us and confirmed that the upgrade could be done.

To my shock and dismay I noticed on my latest statement that I am charged a R409-37 migration fee?!!

If this was explained and disclosed to me at the time, I would have waited 1 month to do my upgrade. I was falsely led to believe that it was in order to upgrade a few weeks earlier but now I must pay over R400 extra for it.

This is in violation of the Consumer Protection Act where all charges and fees should be disclosed upfront in order for a consumer to make an informed decision before agreeing to a deal. I would please like this money reversed from my account.

I tried already to contact Vodacom directly but was sent from pillar to post, leaving me no choice to sort out this situaton via hello peter.

Looking forward to your soonest favorable reply.
