Re: DISSATISFACTION OF SERVICE ON NUMBER 082 799 0786
With regards to the above mentioned number being 082 799 0786, I was informed that I may upgrade my contract. Hence, I visited the Vodacom Outlet in West Street today to upgrade the existing contract for a special as advertised in the Vodacom August Edition Magazine.
To my dismay, I was informed that my existing contract upgraded in October 2012 is a contract that extends till 30 December 2013, being 26 months, therefore I may only be able to upgrade in October 2013 or place notice to cancel in November 2013.
I did not sign up for a 26 month contract and I expect the contract on the above number to cancelled with immediate effect, failing which I intend to direct my dissatisfaction to the Consumer Protection Body.
I am well within my rights as a consumer and therefore intend to exercise those rights.
