Nobody home at Telkom for investigation

Irregular activities occurred on my mother's new ADSL setup which resulted in excessive data usage to the extent of over four times her capped premium. In retrospect the entire ADSL activation process was suspect and warrants investigation to identify the root cause by process of elimination. I have tried to contact the Telkom line which is only open during office hours and have heard only pre-recorded music. The call centre has referred me everywhere except to anyone who can assist in this regard. It is a sensitive matter and thus needs to be handled by someone who will treat it as such. This problem started in January and needs closure. Please can a real live Telkom investigator make themselves available to me. These are the kind of issues that give South African service a bad reputation. The frustration we have experienced in trying to get to the right department and staff is unbearable.
