I reported the fault at MWEB on 01/01/2014 because my adsl line and data is handled by MWEB they told me Telkom is responsible for clearing the fault, I received a Telkom and Mweb reference number, today is the 10th of January and still no joy, The call centre is bad the options you need to select is an endless process and when you get to an operator they just tell you its been handed over to a technician, this is an ongoing problem I have with Telkom ADSL I was without ADSL also from around 13 December 2012 til 8 January 2013 looks like a yearly process now because it went down on the 01 January 2014 again. I know all the excuses in the rolodex if it is not the seacom cable its me living in a high risk area, or the cable is, new cable on order, or the system cancelled the assigned technician in error, Maybe TELKOM can do what they want when they want and nothing at all because they got the MONOPOLY.
I had a loss of income in 2012/2013 and now again, Mweb only refund the time not connected but my staff still play solitare because no internet and they get payed doing it.
