Overcharging, and billing for cancelled line

I cancelled my telkom line : 012 653 8290 after several months of weekly issues with the telkom lines and especially my adsl. I must have logged 20 calls to telkom's call centre for my continuous struggle. At times my adsl was off for 3 weeks a month. And when it finally started working it was slower than dial up! The issues was neclver resolved after telkom technical staff came out countless times. I therefore cancelled my telkom line, and took out a contract with vodacom for internet services. Now several months later, telkom listed me on ITC for non payment!!! They kept invoicing me until august 2013.. I never even had a telephone plugged in! Now lawyers and debt collectors want me to pay R 7000.00??? Is this a joke... How can telkom not see this line is inactive for such a period, never call me to query the non existence if any sort of activities, and keep charging me .. Probably because they so used to all the lines being faulty they just don't give a s*#%{t!!! I expect telkom to refer to my endless list of problems with this line, and why my line was never cancelled as requested.. It seems no one is doing their jobs!!! Wow I haven't been this disgusted and upset in my life!
