I am in the process of a bond application and found out that someone opened a Vodacom contract on my name. When I contacted the call centre, they confirmed verbally that this was done but cannot give me something in writing. This was done on Vodacoms side so you with think that they will be helpful! The call centre agents are absolutely rude! This is utter nonsense! Why should I wait 20 days for something that you did wrong?
ALL I WANT IS FOR VODACOM TO CONTACT TRANSUNION AND CLEAR MY NAME AND SEND ME A LETTER CONFIRMING THAT THIS IS!
Then, they can go and investigate internally and catch their staff that was involved in this!
Judging from this experience, I am glad I do not have any contracts with Vodacom.
