I called cell c call centre on the 10th of May to let them know that I will not be getting paid on my normal paydate (20th) as I will be changing jobs and my employer will only be paying me on the 31st of the month. I wanted to avoid getting unpaid charges of R120 on my account. The agent said he is escalating the matter and will send me a refernce number as soon as i hung up. The reference number never arrived and on the 20th a debit order instruction from cell c was put through on my account. I have an unpaid charge of R120 at that. I called the call centre again to ask what happened and the agent was plain rude as she was not answering me, i was left on the phone like i was talking to myself. Eventually when i demanded an answer she said she doesnt think there is anyone in cell c that can give me an answer to my question and that if i wanted to change pay dates i should have called on the 29th of April. i called s soon as i knew that there would be changes on my paydate and asked for assistance. i expect that there should be something that can be done in extreme situations like this. i am VERY unhappy about this. and i deserve an answer.
