MTNTopUp package went wrong R11 000 from us

My husband was on topUp package for his data with MTN. For some reason MTN decided to change his contract without his consent and charged R11 OOO data charges later - which he never used based on his phone data records - all this were taken off his bank account!!! After SEVERAL (6) personal visits to and follow- ups with their MTN contact centre in CenturyCity, they admitted the huge account error was their mistake. So, they promised to pay him back his money but not in CASH - in airtime and data, which could take years to use up!! He has now waited another week (after being told only 3 days) to see if they will respond to pay back his money. But no response!!! Not even a phone call. How is that supposed to be a solution to a problem MTN caused? He closed his account with MTN after many yrs!!! But the debit orders still keep coming off his bank account even after he paid 3 mths ahead in cash!! Surely, this is just another tactic where they have TAKEN his money out of his account and not planning to pay him back the cash at all!! They are just forcing him to stay with an unethical company!!! The most expensive cell phone company in South Africa!!! Yellow!!! I just see red
