Rediculous pricing for current client to Migrate

To all unsuspecting Vodacom clients it is cheaper to get a complete new contract with an opposing network then to migrate from a 2 Gig to a 3 Gig contract.
Clearly Vodacom is only interested in new business and not retaining their current clients.
Phoned in to have 2 of my data contracts increased on from 2 Gig to 3 Gig and other from 1 Gig to 2 Gig Pomotions etc being run would total R 268-00 should i as a loyal client migrate up i would be paying R838-00 for the same. i would be paying R590-00 more then now? No proper answer can be given and no proper reasoning can be given. the difference that i would pay i can get a new device with a larger bundle and through away on of my current data cards and pay less??
I currently run 9 Vodacom contracts? why stay when every other network offers so much more?
