I have two MyMeg 500 data contracts (amongst others) with Vodacom. Why is it that I am still paying so much for so little data!? Service providers like Afrihost are managing to offer 10GB of mobile data (on the MTN network) for the same price as I am paying for 500MB - I know that Afrihost are subsidising their pricing as a promotion at the moment, but even the standard 3GB for R149 is still a WAY better deal than Vodacom. Why are Vodacom not offering better parity with their prices? I am locked into a data contract that is ripping me off! As data becomes more affordable Vodacom should be upping my data allocation for the same price instead of charging me a fortune for the amount that I go over my allocated threshold. I am sick of paying so much for so little when others offer such great value just because I'm locked into a contract. At this rate I will DEFINITELY be be canceling all 3 of my contracts with Vodacom when they expire!
