I have an 8ta data contract which was just ok until I moved to a new area. Then after I moved I asked for assistance with the poor signal. They were great at sending out a technician to assist but he advised that a new tower needs to built to serve the area. This was in February/March 2013. I contacted 8ta who then assured me that a tower will be build by the end of March 2013.
Then when I asked at the end of March when the tower would be done I was told to be patient the tower will be done at the end of May 2013. So now I asked them again if the tower will be done at the end of May. The response, 5 days after asking is that it will be done at the end of July 2013.
I would have cancelled my contract in March had I known it would take this long... and then I will probably be told in July that it will be done in September. Keeping in mind that I am a paying customer! with a service that is practically useless because it is Slow and unreliable!
I had enough of this waste of my money and want to cancel.
