South Africa's leading network just got even faster with... Like it has - I don't think so... They have got even slower, I am currently in Olivedale, Randburg, Gauteng and for the past 5 years Vodacom has promised that they would sort out the 3G tower in this area. But nothing has happened - I keep on receiving sms that they are working on the problem - I think that is to get people to stay with them and continue paying them for service that one does not receive, They have sent out tech's to my house and I get the same response "Oh we see the signal is poor we are planning to put up a tower and the new tower would be up in the next 3 months...
"Well it has now been 5 years and no tower,
But if go to any Vodacom store... they will not check your area to confirm you have signal or not they are just happy to give you a 3G contract.
But they have an ad on TV where somebody is at a and gets the best signal / reception - does that not indicate that you can be any where and get the best signal - or is that just false advertising???
