Sim rading the wrong phone now I must pay

Well done Vodacom, twice in one month, I am complaining again while my last complaint is still in process.
I changed from a contract phone to prepaid, I also decided to give the phone (S3) back to Vodacom, as I am not willing to pay them for the phone.
While in the process of giving the phone back, I used a Samsung phone, very cheap one, to make calls for about a week, I manage to get a Nokia E63, and currently using that one, now I am unable to browse the internet, I purchased data bundle but cant access the internet, I call called Customer Care yesterday, the lady said that I must do it manually by using the options when dialing*111#

Trying to that, I was unable, as the sim card is still picking up the 2nd Samsung phone I used for 1 week, I then called Client Care, and the lady who sounded as if she was forced to work, told me that there is nothing she can do, I must go to a Vodashop, but will have to pay for them to sort it out.
How does Vodacom work, the sim is reading the wrong phone and there is nothing they can do, so easy for them to tell us that we have to pay for it.
All I wish for is for the 1st complaint to be finalized in order for me to change network.
