Vodacom
Rubbish Service and left in the dark

I have been battling for weeks to get an upgrade to an iphone5 with Vodacom. I understand the supply/demand issues, and after visiting 5 stores, going on one waiting list (only Sandton was prepared to add me to a waiting list - and I never heard back from them), phoning the call centre at least 8 times, logging complaints on twitter, and eventually ordering online I was able to ORDER my phone.

On Monday 14 Jan I received a message that the phone had been invoiced and I should "expect delivery shortly". Three days later, 3 twitter complaints, in excess of 10 calls to the call centre, the phone was eventually delivered (my order was lost/misplaced apparently)... without the necessary sim card. When calling the call centre, the "assistant" said that I need to go to a store to activate it now. Why on earth would I order on line, get my phone delivered, only to then go to a store to activate it?!?!

Infuriated, I insisted that they deliver the sim card as it was supposed to be, and I was told it would take 5 days?!?! This is the worst upgrade service I have ever received! And they have still not acknowledged or responded to any of my complaints on Twitter.
