On the morning of the 6 of April my husband lost his phone. For i phoned vodacom to block the simcard for there was over R400 on the simcard. They dit blocked it. But for some reason they unblocked it for the simswap to take place. I dit not know that it was unblocked. Just before 11 that morning my husbands airtime was transferred to a phone nr. So we now lost 400 rands worth of airtime. His borrowed phone with the new simcard was off for the simswap to take place

A query was logged on the 6th for that reason and on the 7th the problem was resoleved and the customer was phoned. That never happened. No one phoned.

What is the procedures of sim swapping. I have blocked the simcard for that reason that there was over 400 rands worth of airtime on. So what is the purpose of a sim swap if you are going to loose all your airtime. I feel that it is unacceptable.

Vodacom can see that there are airtime on and that it maybe just maybe can be transferred or called out if a person pick up the phone.

I feel like my husband as a vodacom customer is not protected. So please vodacom i feel that it is a mistake from your side. Can we have that airtime back. R400 is allot of airtime to lose.
